QUIETBOARD Cement Impregnated Particle Board is a revolutionary, waterproof, cement impregnated acoustic floor panel designed to improve impact and airborne noise transfer through separating floors. Cement Impregnated Particle Board installed on top of any of our Resilient Floor Systems, such as:
    IsoBase R50
    Resilient Joist Caps
    Acoustic Cradle System
    Resilient Battens
provides enhanced acoustic performance over standard 18mm or 22mm T&G flooring grade chipboard. Cement impregnated particle board is now specified in the new Building Regulations Approved Document E as the best material for this application. It is quick to install and is easily cut to size ideally by using a saw with diamond or tungsten tipped blades.

QuietBoard Cement Impregnated Particle Board Acoustic Flooring is constructed from two well established building materials - wood and cement. Cement Impregnated Particle Board is a very dense product, light grey in colour and both faces have a hard smooth flat surface.

The soundproofing qualities of this material are far superior to those of standard plasterboard and still better than soundblok or soundcheck plasterboards as is shown in the data below.

    Applications:

  • Separating floors for new buildings and conversions
  • Due to its unique properties, this is also a very useful product for a wide range of alternative applications i.e.
  • Wall boarding as an alternative to lighter weight plasterboard
